Since 1949 Walsteds has been building boats of the highest quality. Our worldwide reputation has evolved from working together with well-known designers.
Initially we built wooden boats, but since the beginning of the seventies we have also been building GRP-vessels and in the eighties we expanded into steel and aluminum.
Today the yard fabricates hulls with both cold molded and strip planking systems; however GRP / Composites and aluminum are also common materials for hull construction. Ease of maintenance is often an important point when deciding priorities. No matter which method or material is chosen, the yard’s quality demands are always met.
